Stem onions are the perfect compliment to storage onions. As a fast growing variety, they provide fresh onion tops and juicy, meaty bulbs from May to late autumn. These are great for light, quick meals such as stir fry on Asian woks or roasted on a barbeque.
Growing instructions
Sow from March to July in rows 30 cm apart. Mixed cultivation with baby carrots is idea. Hilling extends the tender white stem portion. Continuously harvest as necessary. Bundle these together to sell bunches at the market stall.
