Lunaria annua
The pretty flowers of the approximately 80 cm tall plant bring pleasure from May to June with their intense violet tones. What are more popular are the silvery translucent fruit pods. They make wonderful flower arrangements in winter.
Growing instructions
Sow into seedling trays in July and transplant to the field at a distance of 40 ✕ 40 cm. A sunny to partially shaded spot is optimal. Once established, there is no need to lift a finger, they reseed themselves.
